Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to the lodge By the time you arrive at the airport, our company representative will be waiting to welcome and transfer you to your hotel. He will give you the program for the next day and then leave you to rest and recover from the journey. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Arusha or Moshi. Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park Get on a 3-4 hours journey to Tarangire National Park. On arrival, you will have a picnic lunch and go for an afternoon game drive which may expose you to some of the animals of the park, for example elephants, lions and leopards among others. The park is famously known for a big population of elephants and its majestic baobab trees. You will have dinner and the overnight at your booked lodge in Tarangire. Day 3: Transfer from Tarangire to Serengeti National Park Breakfast at the lodge and a transfer to Serengeti National Park. The journey takes about 4 hours and once you arrive at the park, you will do a game drive and later drive to the lodge in the evening. Day 4: Explore Serengeti National Park Start the day early with a morning breakfast and head out for a full-day game drive which will get you around the plains of Serengeti for a typical adventurous exploration. It offers chances to see a variety of animals in the park including wildebeests, zebras, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards and buffaloes among others. You will also visit the hippo’s pool to watch hippos, crocodiles and other animals that gather there. Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Before driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will have one more game drive around Serengeti to look out for animals that you could have missed on the last game drives. Thereafter, proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have a picnic lunch and arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon or in the evening. Day 6: Explore Ngorongoro Conservation Area On this day, you will have a full day drive around Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a visit to the crater. Covering about 20sqkm, Ngorongoro Crater is a large unspoiled beautiful space. It is home to a variety of animal species which are also available in large numbers. This offers an opportunity to easily spot them. If you are looking to see lions, cheetah and rhinos without having to drive long distances around the destination yet in their natural habitat, Ngorongoro almost gives a guarantee to see them. In the late afternoon or evening, you will drive back to the lodge and rest from the long drive. Day 7: Lake Manyara and game drive Breakfast at the lodge and a road transfer from Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara national park. The journey takes about an hour, and on arrival, you will have a game drive. The park is popular for its population of tree climbing lions. It is also home to elephants, antelopes, hyenas and flamingos. Have lunch and set off to Arusha or Moshi where you will have your overnight. Day 8: Transfer to the city or airport On this last day of the 8 Day safari, you will have breakfast at your lodge and check out.
