7 Days Tanzania Safari Adventure

Tanzania is a classic safari destination with thousands of wild animals in the vast savannah wildlife reserves where visitors get thrilled at incredible sightings during game drives. It is unbelievable how you can be in the wild and encounter large herds of elephants, wildebeests, prides of lions and cheetahs just like it happens in Tanzania. On this 7 day Tanzania safari, you will visit Tarangire National park, Lake Manyara national park, Serengeti national park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 1: Arrival at the airport and transfer to the lodge Our company representative will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha where you will spend your night. He will remind you of the program for the next day before he leaves you to rest from the long journey. Day 2: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park Your safari driver will meet you after your breakfast, give you a briefing of the safari and set off to Tarangire National Park. The scenic 2 hours’ drive takes you via vast grasslands with majestic baobab trees and traditional Maasai houses. You will right away start your exploration of the park with a chance to see elephants, leopards, lions and cheetahs. You will have a picnic lunch, followed by another short drive around the park and later on head to your lodge for a relaxation, dinner and the overnight. Day 3: Transfer from Tarangire to Lake Manyara national park Leave Tarangire for Lake Manyara National Park in the morning, a 2 hour journey that will take you straight away for a game drive. The park is home to a population of tree climbing lions which you may spot. You also have a chance to see other animals such as elephants, leopards, antelopes and a variety of bird species including flamingos. Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti national park An early morning breakfast at the lodge and transfer to Lake Manyara national park. You will drive through Ngorongoro conservation Area for a game drive specifically around the crater. The game drive creates an opportunity to see several wild animals that reside here, including lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, leopards, and cheetahs among others. After a few hours of the drive, you will have a picnic lunch and later proceed to your booked lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Day 5: North of Serengeti national park and watching wildebeests Wake up early, have breakfast at the lodge and head out for a game drive: this will be a full day game drive around the northern areas of Serengeti national park. The intention of the activity is to watch animals on the Great Wildebeest Migration as they head towards Mara River. On a lucky day, you could spot predators trying to hunt some animals on the migration. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area One more game drive in Serengeti national park to look out for animals that you could have missed seeing on the last drive. It will be a half day game drive extending up to around 14:00hrs. Have a picnic lunch and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Day 7: Game drive in Ngorongoro Conservation Area and transfer to Arusha After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. As you descend over the 600m into the crater, enjoy the breathtaking views of the landscape. The natural wonder is home to a variety of animals species, many of which you will see during the game drive. Simply make sure to travel with a fully charged battery of camera to take photos of herds of wildebeests, zebras, grant gazelles, buffaloes and prides of lions among others. After the game drive, set off for Arusha where you will be dropped to end the safari. END OF 7 DAYS TANZANIA SAFARI
