These are the connecting regions to the base of the mountain while on road with 4×4 safari vesicle. For travelers that have challenges of sitting in a car for long hours, you can choose to have flight to the park. There are airports close to Mount Kenya national park like Laikipia airport or Nanyuki. On the other hand you can land on the private airstrip for lodges that are with in this park. Although many travelers prefer to get a flight from Nairobi and later they connect to the park by road transport to using a 4×4 car.

Serena Mountain lodge This lodge located on the rolling slopes of Mount Kenya. It stands on an elevation above the forest tree canopies. It is overlooking magnificent views of the waterhole plus salt licks which attract the wildlife in the park which you enjoy watching while at the terrace of the lodge.
