5 Days Tanzania Safari

The 5-Day Wildlife Safari in Tanzania is a short but great trip to get you exploring the best of Tanzania’s gems. It will take you for game viewing in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Serengeti National park and Tarangire National Park. Then also, enjoy the scenic views all throughout the trip.

Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire national park The safari starts with a short briefing from our company safari guide and this will be at your hotel in Arusha just after having breakfast. Set off to Tarangire National park, a distance of about 140km from Arusha. You will arrive at the park and do a game drive of about 3 hours. Amidst the drive, you will enjoy a picnic lunch. Later drive to the lodge and relax. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park You will have breakfast at your lodge and transfer to the great African wilderness – Serengeti National park. Since you will arrive in the afternoon, you will have lunch first and then drive to the central parts of the park where most wildlife is spotted. The game drive will last for about 3 hours and animals expected to be seen include elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes and leopards among others. Next will be a transfer to your booked lodge where you will have dinner and the overnight stay. Day 3: Explore Serengeti This day will be spent in the plains of Serengeti National park, a full day game drive to explore the rich wildlife destination with another chance to again see what you could have spotted on Day 2 and look out for what you missed. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and then rest. Day 4: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Another early morning starts with a yummy breakfast just before checking out to transfer to Ngorongoro. You will have a stopover at the Olduvai Gorge, enjoy the scenic views plus learn some history about it. You will have an en-route lunch and a late afternoon transfer to your lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner Day 5: Explore Ngorongoro Crater and transfer to Arusha Meet your safari driver, have breakfast and set off for a morning game drive. This will take you to Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife reserve packed with a variety of wild animals including rhinos, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, leopards, hyenas, and elephants among others. As you enjoy the scenic views of the landscape, expect to see some of these animals. Other attractions around the crater include Lake Magadi and its resident the flamingos and hippos. After 4 hours of the drive, transfer to Arusha where you will be dropped and end the 5 Day safari in Tanzania.
